2026 Micro Grants
The Community Micro Grants Program provides grants of up to $1,000 to support individuals facing health, accessibility, educational, family, or financial challenges, as well as opportunities that promote learning, participation, and community engagement.
Up to 10 grants will be awarded.
Eligible applicants must be Canadian registered charities or other qualified donees recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Applications must be submitted on behalf of an individual beneficiary.
Individuals seeking assistance are encouraged to approach a community organization they are affiliated with and request that an application be submitted on their behalf.
Applications must include a signed referral letter from the sponsoring organization describing the applicant's circumstances, the purpose of the request, and the anticipated impact of the grant.
Examples of eligible requests may include:
• Disability-related supports and accessibility needs
• Assistance for individuals or families experiencing medical challenges
• Support for living kidney donors during recovery
• Tuition assistance for rabbinical studies or Jewish educational programs
• Opportunities that promote well-being, inclusion, independence, learning, or personal growth

Approved grant funds will be distributed to the sponsoring organization, which will administer the funding for the benefit of the applicant.
Applications will be reviewed confidentially by an independent volunteer review panel. Funding decisions will consider demonstrated need, anticipated impact, available funding, and alignment with the program's objectives.
