Yes Kosher Friendship (YKF) is an Alberta based, Canadian registered charity founded in 2021 and granted charitable status in 2023.

YKF was created from a personal journey of profound loss and a commitment to transforming that loss into a lasting purpose. In memory of a child taken too soon, the organization was founded to create a legacy focused on compassion, dignity, connection, and support for people facing isolation, hardship, or barriers to accessing resources.

Today, YKF is a community support organization that strengthens the network of care across Alberta and Canada. We support community organizations, charities, schools, agencies, cultural groups, volunteers, and individuals and families in need by helping connect people with resources, services, opportunities, and collaborative solutions.

Rather than replacing or duplicating existing services, YKF works alongside organizations to expand their impact, reduce barriers, and help more people access the support they need. Through partnerships, outreach, resource coordination, and community based initiatives, YKF helps improve access to food security, education, employment opportunities, mentorship, wellness supports, and essential services.
